Do I need an appointment to try on wedding gowns?
We do require appointments for Bridal, Mother of the Bride and Groom & Bridesmaids. This will ensure that you receive the personal attention you deserve by our fabulous team of bridal stylists and that there is adequate fitting room space available. We do our best to accommodate walk-in customers when possible. Saturday appointments fill up quickly. Make sure you call a few weeks ahead of your desired visit.
What is your price point for bridal gowns?
We have beautiful wedding dresses between about $1000-$3,000. There is a selection of dresses at every price point and budget. Are largest selection of dresses is in the $1,500-$2,000 price point.
What is your price point for mother’s gowns?
We have incredible mother’s dresses, mostly between $350 -$550. There is a selection of dresses at every price point and sample sizing is from size 10 to 22.
How many people can I bring with me to my appointment?
We recommend that you bring no more than 3-4 guests with you to the appointment. However, we understand the excitement of family & friends to attend. Our larger private suite can comfortably fit up to 8 guests.
Can children attend appointments?
Chosing your dress is one of the most enjoyable parts of the wedding planning process. We love to provide all of our brides an elegant and peaceful atmosphere while shopping for their dream dress. In order to ensure this we kindly suggest that your little ones are left at home.
What is the timeline to order my dress?
Wedding gowns normally take about 4-6 months for delivery. You should allow 2-3 months for the fitting and alteration process. Most brides order their dresses 9-12 months in advance. Mother of the Bride and Groom dresses are 3-4 months for delivery and we suggest ordering those 6-8 months in advance. If you are on a time crunch, rush orders can sometimes be accommodated for an additional charge and are available from most designers to speed up the ordering process.
Do I have to pay for my gown in full at the time of purchase?
To order a wedding gown, a deposit of at least 50% of the purchase price is required at the time of appointment The balance must be paid in full before the dress is ordered. For all other purchases, merchandise must be paid in full at time of order. All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges - this is bridal industry standard.
What should I bring with me to my bridal appointment?
We recommend brides wear a strapless bra and nude colored underwear (panties are required). Some brides also prefer to wear a slimming undergarment/shaper. It is also helpful to have your hair up.
Do I need to bring special shoes?
Shoes can be brought but they are not required. Most brides find it difficult to have them on when getting in and out of the dresses.
Should I have makeup on?
That is up to you! You will be looking at yourself in the mirror and some brides prefer to have their makeup on.
We do ask that you DO NOT wear self tanner or body makeup on that may transfer onto the dresses.
Can we bring champagne/food/drink to the store?
Yes, we provide drinking glasses, napkins and a table in your suite for your guest. Please consider not bring food or beverages items that easily stain clothes (example: red wine or chocolate). We provide great robes for our brides so they can have drink & snack breaks.
Will my dress need alterations?
Yes, gowns will require some sort of adjustments to ensure the perfect fit. We have developed a great list of trusted alteration providers in the area that we are happy to share with you.
Do you offer gown storage?
Yes, we offer free gown storage for all our customers. We will store your dress until your wedding for FREE!
Can we take pictures?
Absolutely, we encourage you to take photos. It can be an important tool to help you chose one of our beautiful gowns.
If I need time to decided will I get info to help me choose?
Yes, we are a shop that cares. We know it can be an overwhelming to shop for weddings and it’s unlike any other shopping experience. We do not belive in high pressure sells. You are in control of your appointment. We will give you detailed notes on gown selections along with pricing so you are able to make a fully transparent and informed choice.
Do you have plus size samples to try on?
Yes, we have a great selection of sample dresses from size 10 to 22.
